1. Direct the patient to the appropriate page

2. Explain the billing process
   Ensure the patient understands they might be charged for any additional appointments. Utopia WellCare can’t guarantee that additional appointments will be free. Each patient’s insurance plan will cover Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) differently; the patient will need to contact their insurance carrier for a definitive answer on how much they will need to pay out-of-pocket.

3. Verify payment information
   Confirm that the patient has a card on file in Healthie before scheduling any further appointments. On the client’s Healthie profile, go to Charting → Request Form Completion → Billing Info → Send request completion email.

4. Add the “Self Pay With Insurance” Tag to the patient’s Healthie profile
