FAQs

I made an appointment, what should I do now?

Check the email account you have provided for a confirmation message. To reply, cancel, or change your appointment, please email your provider.

What should I bring to the appointment?

Have your insurance card handy for verification. Otherwise, nothing is needed at your first appointment. If there is anything you feel is important to relay to your practitioner at your first meeting (example: specific lab results, recent diagnoses, allergies, medications/supplements), having them available can be helpful.

What do I do if I have issues getting into the call?

If any issues arise, a phone call or an email may be sent to your practitioner.  This will allow your practitioner to walk you through the issues you may be experiencing.  In the event of technical difficulties preventing a meeting from occurring, your practitioner will reschedule your appointment at your convenience.

What will I take away from my first visit?

You will have met your practitioner and started a process of personalized care. Personalized care, involving lifestyle changes, begins with building a positive relationship with your practitioner and feeling heard. Our practitioners will initiate this process at your first appointment, so that the nutrition education process can begin.

What about follow-up appointments?

Any follow-up appointments will be scheduled before the end of your first visit with your practitioner.  Together, you and your practitioner will design a nutrition care process that best suits your needs.

Is my information and privacy secure?

Our web sites and telehealth technologies are compliant with HIPAA encryption standards. When do you offer appointments?

Our flexible scheduling system, allows you and your practitioner to schedule appointments in accordance with your individualized needs. We take appointments Monday through Friday, both in and outside of normal business hours.

How do I get into the video call?

A link to your video call will come to you at the email address you have provided, when you initially scheduled your appointment. Copy the password provided in the email and click on the zoom link. The link will prompt you to put in the password, which can be pasted into the widow. You will then be let into the meeting where your practitioner will be waiting to meet you.

How long will my appointment last?

If you’re attending a discovery call to learn more that will take around 15 minutes. Full visits with our practitioners will last one hour.
